Easy Proctored Exam Setup

Honorlock’s proctoring software is primarily browser-based and most students will not have to download any software to access it.

You’ll need to use the Google Chrome browser and once you install the Honorlock Chrome extension, you simply log into your school’s learning management system like you normally do and get started.

We’ll walk you through a quick 60-second pre-test checklist to make sure you’re ready for the proctored exam. You’ll start by scanning the room with your webcam to ensure that no one else is present and that you’re not using any external resources, and then we’ll have you verify your identity by taking a picture of both yourself and your photo ID with your webcam. Our authentication process allows you to quickly begin your proctored exam.

Disclaimer: This webpage discusses Honorlock’s widely available services. In May 2021, Honorlock launched App Unlock, a feature in limited release at a few schools that works through an app students download onto their computers, in addition to a Chrome extension.
