What motivates you to wake up every morning and make an impact at Honorlock?

As far back as I can remember, I’ve always been into solving puzzles, for example, those metal ones that you need to find a way to pull apart and then put back together. Every day at Honorlock I not only get to work on challenging puzzles but also work with an amazing team of individuals that constantly push me to learn and do better. It’s really rewarding when everyone around you is so committed to delivering such a high-quality product.

What are your main responsibilities at Honorlock?

As a Senior Software Engineer, my main focus is developing new features as well as making improvements to all of Honorlock’s Online Proctoring Tools. A great part of this involves collaborating with my peers to identify the best solutions to meet our goals in an efficient way that allows us to continue to grow and scale.

What has been your favorite project so far?

There is definitely a lot to choose from. My favorite was working on the security initiative where the focus was on improving the security of our platform, there were big challenges in terms of the features we wanted to implement and it was a great collaborative effort to get everything done. It really made me push my boundaries on learning and understanding the project as a whole.

What’s something most people at Honorlock don’t know about you?

As a kid, I enjoyed chemistry a lot, and as an adult that transformed into me making killer cocktails.

What do you love most about being part of the Honorlock team?

It’s 100% the people, every day I’m surrounded not only by some of the smartest people I know but also amazing human beings. It’s a great pleasure to work in an environment where collaboration feels so easy and knowledge is so abundant that there are lessons to be learned every single day.

How has your career grown since starting at Honorlock?

Working at Honorlock has essentially sped up my technical growth. I’ve had the chance of working on projects with a lot of complexity for which I had to learn a lot to get the job done. Being part of a team that is so knowledgeable also has driven me to learn more about new technologies as well as improve my skill set.

What are you most excited about in your future with Honorlock?

There are some great projects planned in our roadmap that I’m very excited to start working on that will certainly challenge my skills as a Software Engineer and continue to drive my career growth. I’m also looking forward to being continually amazed by the quality of work that our team delivers every day.
