What motivates you to wake up every morning and make an impact at Honorlock?
I’m motivated by the people I work with because they are intelligent and talented. The team is willing to try new things and to make our company stand out in the online proctoring and EdTech market.
What are your main responsibilities at Honorlock?
As the marketing data and analytics expert on the marketing team, I’m responsible for measuring our KPIs and making recommendations to help generate pipeline and improve marketing performance. I also manage our inbound BDR Emma and so I am on the frontlines as prospects contact us.
What has been your favorite project so far?
I audited our marketing nurture streams which heavily relied on data and have since collaborated with various team members to update and revitalize these nurtures. This has included revisiting our personas, updating messaging to be in live with our new value proposition, and developing a flow that will engage prospects and encourage them to request demos.
What’s something most people at Honorlock don’t know about you?
I’m a writer. I’ve written novels, poetry, and short stories both on my own and through a local non-profit writing center by taking classes and attending seminars.
What do you love most about being part of the Honorlock team?
My team, company values, and the flexibility of remote work. Every day I’m able to see how team members conduct their work through our values. I’m grateful that I’m able to have more time to spend with my family.
How has your career grown since starting at Honorlock?
Though I’ve worked at SaaS companies previously, I’m new to EdTech. I’ve had so many opportunities here to better understand the challenges Higher Education institutions face when securing academic integrity. By leveraging our data and tech stack, I’m constantly being challenged to consider how we can improve our strategy and this has helped further develop my analytical and marketing skills.
What are you most excited about in your future with Honorlock?
I’m excited to continue to see what marketing does next! I’m encouraged to think creatively and to not be afraid to try new things to see how they might work.
