MIN

Educause Session | October 21-24, 2024

According to EDUCAUSE’s 2024 Higher Education Trend Watch, as institutions face new challenges in the teaching and learning environment, they are asking IT leaders for “…more data to enhance institutional effectiveness, improve decision-making processes, and make informed strategic choices that positively impact student success, operational efficiency, and overall institutional outcomes.”

Among the top trends noted in EDUCAUSE’s report, efforts toward digital transformation and institutional resilience ranked high. To meet the shift in technological needs, IT leaders will need to leverage data to answer the following questions:

  • How do we evaluate and leverage existing technology investments?
  • What technology tools are educators using today to bolster student learning?
  • How can we partner with vendors to access data?

Join Joe Tobares, Executive Director for Academic Technologies & Strategic Enterprise at the University of Texas at San Antonio, as he delves into the evolving dynamic of student demand post-pandemic and how they evaluate technology investments to carry the university forward. Discover strategies for assessing and leveraging existing technology investments that positively impact the learning environment.
