What motivates you to wake up every morning and make an impact at Honorlock?

I am intrinsically driven by the opportunity to contribute to Honorlock’s mission of enhancing academic integrity. The opportunity to make a positive impact in education motivates me to bring my best to work each day.

What are your main responsibilities at Honorlock?

As a Customer Success Manager, my main responsibility is ensuring that my clients have a positive experience with Honorlock. This includes understanding the needs of new clients to successfully complete their onboarding,  training users to optimize the use of Honorlock, and addressing concerns/providing continuous support in a timely manner to ensure successful use of the product. By developing and maintaining trusting relationships with clients, I am able to successfully support their goals and initiatives as it relates to remote proctoring and promoting academic integrity.

What has been your favorite project so far?

My favorite project thus far has been creating customized trainings for users who are already familiar with Honorlock, as a means to promote awareness of product enhancements and successful use of the Honorlock tool. Through these trainings, I can ensure that faculty and administrators learn about specific product features or enhancements directly applicable to their level of service and their use case, making the training more relevant and engaging. The customized trainings have led to higher adoption rates, as faculty are more likely to embrace new features when they understand how these improvements directly benefit their work. Additionally, the trainings have fostered an environment where faculty and administrators feel comfortable expressing their concerns/suggestions, allowing for continuous improvement in both the training content and the product itself.

What’s something most people at Honorlock don’t know about you?

Something not widely known about me is that I learned sign language during my childhood. This skill was developed because of a close friend/neighbor who was deaf and mute. In order to ensure that I could communicate effectively and develop a meaningful relationship, I made it my mission to learn sign language and was fluent by the age of 6. While moving away from my childhood state made it difficult to retain and improve my proficiency, I learned to appreciate the richness and diversity of deaf communities, contributing to a more inclusive worldview.

What do you love most about being part of the Honorlock team?

What I love most about being part of the Honorlock team is the unwavering commitment to diversity and inclusion. The inclusive environment fosters collaboration, innovation, and creativity, making every team member feel valued. Additionally, the great company culture promotes a positive and supportive atmosphere, creating a workplace where I not only thrive professionally but also feel genuinely appreciated.

How has your career grown since starting at Honorlock?

My career in education technology has been a journey of continuous growth since joining Honorlock two years ago. I’ve witnessed substantial growth in my career as I’ve navigated the shift from working in higher education as an Academic Advisor to a Customer Success Manager in education technology. The ever-changing landscape of remote proctoring has pushed me to take on more responsibilities and gain expertise in cutting-edge tools, such as AI, and taking on challenging projects. As a Customer Success Manager, I have developed a versatile skill set and have expanded my professional horizons, contributing to both personal and professional growth.

What are you most excited about in your future with Honorlock?

I look forward to spearheading new projects and initiatives, further developing my relationships with both existing and new clients, as well as continuing to learn and grow as a professional, challenging myself to step outside of my comfort zone.

What motivates you to wake up every morning and make an impact at Honorlock?

Every day at Honorlock we are presented with unique problems that require complex solutions. I get to present Honorlock in a way that makes a profound impact for an institution at every level, and to top it off I get to do all of that with exceptional people.

What are your main responsibilities at Honorlock?

I support sales with powerful and engaging demonstrations of Honorlock that are presented in a way that communicates value beyond proctoring. I also manage Honorlock’s  Pilots and Technical Testing Environments with new prospects looking to implement Honorlock with subset groups of faculty before introducing it school wide.  I also assist with Honorlock’s response to any Request for Proposal, Security Questionnaires, and Privacy Questionnaires for institutions while managing a few of our Professional Education clients. My favorite responsibility at Honorlock is the opportunity to participate in on site presentations to faculty and administration. I was recently invited to speak about how Honorlock promotes student success through data that is made available in the Honorlock Hub at the annual Instructional Officers Association of Alabama meeting in Birmingham.

What has been your favorite project so far?

What do you love most about being part of the Honorlock team?
The people at Honorlock make it incredibly easy to love being here. I believe the opportunities to grow, learn and improve are also amazing here at Honorlock. I came from managing restaurants and while the experiences and knowledge gained were wonderful, being home and involved in my children’s lives as I am able to do so now working at Honorlock is incredible and I am grateful for it.

How has your career grown since starting at Honorlock?
Working in restaurants the amount of technology, other than the machinery used in regards to cooking was quite limited, while you had COGS, Inventory, labor, and a budget to manage, technology was not as hands on as it is here at Honorlock. I am enjoying being immersed in technology on a different scale and learning more and more each day.
