What motivates you to wake up every morning and make an impact at Honorlock?
Mostly the great teamwork that happens daily in our department. All the teams really strive to help each other learn and grow.
What are your main responsibilities at Honorlock?
As a Software Engineer, I am tasked to implement features for the Honorlock products. I have currently been tasked to help in securing the main applications. It has been fun and educational to work within the PED team during all facets of the software lifecycle.
What has been your favorite project so far?
I really enjoyed implementing the Support and Student Alerts areas. I also recently completed an Integration with Intellum that was technically interesting.
What’s something most people at Honorlock don’t know about you?
I enjoy creating and participating in Online Treasure Hunts.
What do you love most about being part of the Honorlock team?
All the new gear. Jk! Everyone truly cares about each other personally and professionally.
How has your career grown since starting at Honorlock?
I have learned so many new, exciting programming concepts and tools since joining Honorlock. Previously, I was a small business owner in the technology space and had done a lot of computer consulting after that. But since joining Honorlock, the opportunities to learn more in the Laravel/PHP realm as well Amazon AWS has been incredible.
What are you most excited about in your future with Honorlock?
Seeing the company grow and mature has been exciting. Helping to grow our teams and build out our capabilities.
