Press Release: Honorlock Strengthens Its Leadership Team with Key New Hires

With its leadership team in place, Honorlock is well positioned for strong growth, product innovation, and customer success.

BOCA RATON, Florida, April 29, 2019 — Honorlock, a cloud-based proctoring solution that is transforming how educational institutions protect the academic integrity of online courses and assessments with its patented solution, today announced the strengthening of its leadership team with four key hires. Dionne (Dee) Bohne joined the company as Vice President of Sales, Brandon Smith as Vice President of Customer Success, Tess Mitchell as Vice President of Marketing and Andrew Simkovsky as Chief Technology Officer. Together, the four new hires bring decades of leadership experience in high-growth SaaS and Ed Tech organizations.

Bohne comes to Honorlock with more than 15 years of experience in education, most recently with Instructure where she had the opportunity to impact early-stage growth by exceeding sales quotas. At Honorlock she brought together a world-class sales team using a consultative sales approach to exceed sales targets.

Smith joined Honorlock from testing and assessment platform ExamSoft where he held executive-level roles in both Operations and Customer Success. At Honorlock, he is leading the Operations and Client Care teams toward implementing lean operational efficiencies and evangelizing customer success best practices to develop support centers of excellence.

Mitchell held executive-level marketing roles at a variety of education companies including Relias, CAE, and Redilearning and brings a proven track record for product launch and driving rapid growth in b2b demand generation. At Honorlock, she will be responsible for marketing innovation and execution in branding, demand generation, sales enablement and pipeline acceleration.

Simkovsky joined Honorlock to head up the company’s Technology and Product Management functions. He is a product engineering and cloud architecture professional with over 18 years of technology experience, including cloud infrastructure design, database development, and product engineering and delivery.

“All four individuals have immensely impressive track records of scaling education technology in high-growth organizations, while at the same time not losing sight of the importance of the customer,” said Michael Hemlepp, Honorlock CEO and board member. “We have plans to do big things in 2019 and I’m thrilled to have such a visionary team lead us to bring our cutting-edge solution to our education partners.”
